Horse L’Orange

Ingredients
- Seared Horse Steak:
- - 2 lbs horse steak
- - 1 tablespoon olive oil
- - Salt and pepper to taste
- Orange Sauce:
- - 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- - 2 tablespoons shallots, minced
- - 1 teaspoon thyme leaves
- - 1 clove garlic, minced
Preparation
- 1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the horse steak with salt and pepper and add it to the skillet. Cook for 8 minutes per side or until desired doneness is reached. Remove from heat and set aside.
- 2. In a small saucepan, combine the orange juice, shallots, thyme, and garlic. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes or until the sauce has reduced by half.
- 3. Slice the horse steak into thin strips and serve with the orange sauce on top. Enjoy!
